Hello All

Do you guys know if it possible to buy the rubber “gasket” that is supposed to be between the rear view mirror and the headlight fairing?

Or do I really have to buy a complete mirror to get that rubber piece?

I tried to buy them when I finally bought a set of used mirrors but Ducati no longer offers the rubber pads unless you buy a mirror. You can try, sometimes different dealers have stock lying around. My dealer in Atlanta tried his best, even contacting Italy, but couldn't get any. I did talk to someone a year or so, maybe JC, can't remember. I think they said they could get one but it was $45 a piece.

I would just buy the blank off plates from JC and get some CRG bar end mirrors. Or Rizoma or Aella if you're feeling like a fancy Ducatista.

I hear you

Love the bar-end mirror - but only for the SC 1000.

I think that the fairing mirrors look the best for the PS and 1000S.

.......maybe it is because I have not seen some really nice pics of a PS with bar-end mirrors???

My 1000s came with CRG bar-end mirrors and I liked them. They are so small that you barely even notice them but I have to admit that the original mirrors just look the part on this bike as well as the big turn signals. My bike had a lot of other mods including the speedymoto belt covers. I left it like this for about a year and then started putting her back to stock form. I like looking at a lot of the bikes that have been modded but there is something to be said for a bike that looks this damn sexy coming straight from the factory minus the exhaust pipes and the rear fender.
