I've been using 180s on the OEM 5.5" rims, but now I got a set of BSTs, with a 5.75" rear. (thanks, Nick)

So, stick with the 180, or go to a 190?

The bike came with a 190 rear, but later I switched to a 180 (simply because my other two bikes with 5.5" rims have 180s)

I'd suggest you go for a 190/55 tyre. The 190/50 is out of the picture since the introduction of the 55 profile. This way you get all the + with no - from the 190 tyre.

:)

P.S: I got March mags on mine but BST's look sick ! Congrats :)

You can run both, doesn´t matter. Usually I´d say 190, but if your other bikes run 180s, why not.

My mate put a 180 Continental Race Attack Street on his Benelli TNT with a 6" rear wheel and is amazed. I guess you just gotta dive into the experiment :)

i have just put a 190 rear on my 5.5 inch rear wheel on the hyper. I realize this makes for a more "pinched" or rounded tire. WHat are the +/- of this setup please?
