I've looked, but really havent found any answers to the question I am about to ask...

I have a bad rear brake switch on my 99 748. It is sticking and will not fully engage, so brake light never indicates I am on my rear brake.

Not a HUGE issue, but I definitely want to get it fixed.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a decent place to get these? (besides the local dealer) Aare there any better solutions since mine is now looking like it needs to be replaced?

Thanks everyone

I ended up replacing the original hydraulic pressure switch with universal rear brake switch and added a spring to the lever. The originals would last one or two years then would only activate when virtually standing on the brake lever. Replacement required bleeeding ... blah, blah, blah. I left the dead switch in place, pulled the wires off and connected to the new switch. I haven't touched it in years.
