I am taking my rear brake pads out and I cannot get the pin in the caliper out. There is a ring on the pin that is holding the pads in and I cannot remove that little ring.
It should be a split ring and you can take it off with the proper tool, pliers, or a small screw driver and then the pad pretty much just fall right out.
