I was looking through an old issue of Cycle magazine that I have. One of the features was about Ducati's then-new TT750F1 (as Cycle called it) and noticed in a couple of the pictures that the floating suspension used looked a lot like an 851/Monster floater.

Any reason why a modification like that wouldn't translate over to the Supersport? Or am I :abduct: ?

OK, let's try this, would a modification like the floating suspension be an upgrade of the link-less stock set-up?

So, was it a mod that was an immediate, night and day difference?

Basically, the mod, that gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling, that you did the right thing?! :D

I did that back in 1996 to a 750SS. I grafted in the frame section from an 888.
Worked great.

Absolutely. The rear end felt much more supple and responsive. I could add in ride height without affecting the geometry and handling.
My lap times dropped immediately.
