Hi - I am a bit of a newbie here, but I thought I should take the time to post some details of a project I am working on at the moment. Some links have been posted before to the mototek forums
( http://www.mototek.com/forum.htm) , but I thought it would be nice to get some focused suggestions / feedback and interest on this forum.

Basically the aim is to take a stock 2003 999S and turn it into the ultimate street machine. I have been working on this project for about 8 months, and have been mainly accumulating rare parts from various corners of the earth !

As with other projects I like to focus on shaving weight as much as possible. This NCR Titanium rear subframe weighs in at a little over a pound and is so sexy I nearly took it home with me !

The NCR rear ride adjuster is just as pretty and precision made from Titanium and Aluminum.

The Titanium front and rear axles come with a boat anchor to stop them floating away. Coated with Quadralloy. Quadralloy increases the surface hardness and reduces the wear caused by the bearing contact point on the axle surface.

STM clutch to follow - in the meen time a STM slave cylinder to handle pushing duties.

Tank wouldnt be complete without a quick action tank cap. Pre preg carbon and billet center. I used a simlier cap on the MV project, I love the action and build quality of these caps.

Various Titanium fastners, from windshield bolts to brake lever pins. I especially like the full engine kit.

Bucci High Compression Forged Pistons are designed to substantially increase power and install directly into the stock cylinders without the need for any other engine modifications.

Bucci High Compression Pistons are structurally designed to reduce fatigue while allowing perfect oil cooling to occur from within the oil jets. In addition, this design incorporates a high flow dome and larger valve pockets for optimal tuning and thermal efficiency.

Carbon Fibre air intakes add to the high fibre diet.

Silicone coolent hoses, save a little weight and are tested to maintain pressures above 350 PSI (4-times the burst pressure of most OEM radiator hoses) and can sustain temperatures above 350° F.

Not that we will be pushing that envelope ...

Note the oil / highbeam / fuel lights. This dash also has a gear indicator, lap timer and progressive shift lights.
