My local shop here ordered me a power commander for my 1198, then I found a set of slip ons at another shop that came with the ECU so I bought them. Should I use the Power commander, or the ECU or can I use both for more tuning flexability?

Forgot to mention that it is the PC5 with auto tune

You have the perfect setup to address you complete rev range. If you didn't change the ecu you wouldn't be able to address below 5200 rpm's and 20% throttle. With your setup you will be good to go. If your ecu is a slip on ecu you can remove the o2 sensors and take cables off of exhaust servo. If its the full system ecu then you can take out 02 sensors and completely remove the servo motor. What kind of slipons did you get? You will love how the 1198 runs once uncorked. Have fun.

I got the Termi carbon slip ons with the ECU and air cleaner that comes with it. I guess with the PC5 and auto tune I dont need to install any maps its supposed to tune it automatically if I understand it correctly.

You need to load a base map and then the autotune works from there.
