I searched for a bit to see if I could find anything, but didnt. I was wondering if it was possible using the 996 wiring diagram, to hook an electronic spedo up to it in place of the OEM? If there is, is there an article that I overlooked?

No, it's not you... the search engine here, and on most forums, is, to be blunt, complete crap. It does not support any sort of boolean, or keywords of less than 4 characters, and therefore is extremely limited in it's scope.

The trick is to use Google, Bing, etc. and do a site search. For example, the search I did to find the thread you were looking for was as follows:

"site xttp://www.ducati.ms/forums/56-superbikes "digital display" 916 996"

Someone else here turned me on to this after I complained how bad the search engine sucked. I use this trick all the time, and now pass it on to you.

Cheers.

Edit: Sorry guys, the Link tool turned my site search line into an actual link. For the sake of illustrating on this post I channged the letter "h" in "http" to "x". So, your search string should be as shown in the line above with "xttp" being changed to "http".

Digital display? sure, glad you found what you were after. But this searching trick is great. Thanks a ton for sharing that.
