So as I was removing the old plastic fuel fittings the black female one decided it would be great to snap off at the base. So now I have the threaded part stuck on the fuel pump assembly. I don't want to screw up the threads. So I'm hoping someone else has had this happen and can advise me what to do to get it out. Thanks in advance.

Which bike? Different models have different fittings.

I had a similar issue changing out the fittings on my 748. I was able to use a standard easy-out to remove the plastic fitting. Drill out any valve remnants so you are just left with the barrel section at the threads. Just go easy until it starts to move. Came out pretty easily, actually. Then replace it with the metal equivalent and get rid of that plastic crap!
