But Nicky didn't fare as well this time.
5th overall with 90 laps.
And they say he had a head injury after a fall.

I know its early, but the Ducati GP team sure is on the right track. It gives hope that they might be in the thick of things right out of the gate. Of course a championship team is one that the rider and bike improve as the year goes along.

When they start handing out practice and test world championship, Sete will be at the top. :D Right now they only give them out after races, so I'll wait to see how Sete does under real pressure. Still all the best to him, Loris and the whole Ducati team they are going the right direction.

Ducati has always done well at Sepang and Phillip Island and Mugello. They were the fastest at the Sepang tests last year but most of the season went by beofore they got on the podium. It remains to be seen as to whether they can improve on the "slower" tracks.

Well said Mike. The trick is to look at the Pareto charts and address the problem tracks. I remain hopeful and optimistic about the racing year GP/WSBK/AMASBK.
