So, this might be an unrealistic suggestion, but... fastest way to get them would be to buy that PS and sell yours (or take the fairings and resell that one... you get the idea). A lot of risk and capital tied up in that approach but it would get the job done.

Agreed on all accounts. I look forward to taking out the PS this year as well. I've needed new tires for the past couple of years and haven't taken her out because of this. It's nice to see $19K for a 1000s that needs some work to it.

Holy crap... I feel like I have never seen a 1000S go for more than $15k USD, let alone that much. Maybe I should look into listing mi... Nope. Nope Nope. Almost said something crazy there.

I’m looking at buying a PS and the only thing holding me back right now is paying a bit more than I want to but it comes with the larger lower fairings. Is there a way to confirm that the fairings are OEM on this bike?

Curious if anyone knows the answer to this. I believe my fairings are OEM, but I am owner #3, and owner #2 bought it with the fairings on it already. He thought they were OEM though. The fitment is as spot on as I would expect OEM to be. Plus, I bought it in 2012, which I believe is before aftermarket options were out there (except maybe the Carbon ones, which these are not). My only real source of skepticism is, the Airtech website is using a photo of my bike on their Sportclassic page. The photo is one that was used when previous owner put it up for sale (but Airtech added the website watermark). I believe they likely just did a google search and grabbed a representative photo to use, since the PS photo they have looks like a similar deal. I thought it possible mine was used as the prototype or early fitment or something, but that seems unlikely since Airtech is in CA and my bike has always been on the east coast.

Ultimately I don't care all that much, since I don't plan to sell them or it. Just have always been really curious.
