Anyone seen this recall from ACCC. Aparently the retaining bolt on swingarm/rear suspension rod fails  that may cause a loss of control of the machine...

What are the hazards? If the retaining bolt linking the swingarm to the rear suspension linkage rod fails, it may result in loss of control of the motorcycle.
What are the defects? Some motorcycles may have been fitted with the incorrect retaining bolt linking the swingarm to the rear suspension linkage rod.

See: Panigale recall at ACCC website.

not aware of any actual failures, this is a precautionary recall, small number of bikes were assembled with too long and slightly different configured bolt, I think the dealers have gotten a vin range of potential affected bikes.

The way described it sounds like someone just stocked the wrong bolt for an assembly process at some point and so far they all seem to be North American bikes, recall was Canada first then the US.
