Sorry I don't have any pictures... Bike is in the shop

Getting some other work done to the bike and I asked about getting some road rash fixed.

There is some mild to moderate rash on the left fairing & a little on the nose cone. Just needs sanding and paint, no major bodywork.

For the "best" painter that he contracts with to do it will be $800 including pulling the mirrors off and filling the holes where the mirrors were.

What is you opinion on the price? Seems to be high by at least $200-$300 just going on my gut feeling

No. If you want quality work, it isn't cheap.

Yea, that sounds OK to me...
I had a small low-side last year and repainting the bike (decals etc) so everything matched was around $2k (2,300 but I had an extra set of side fairings).
So, for one panel and the nose that sounds about right.
