I just recently had to open up my generator cover to get my flywheel out and replace the failing one way clutch, bike was having real trouble starting. For me this way huge because involve a lot of things, drain oil, drain coolant, removing flywheel nut and putting everything back together was a real work out.

Why they fail?..

bike had only 21k miles when I first heard that weird clunking noise down by the generator cover when starting the bike, she fail to start completely at 24k. I’m original owner, went down twice and I like to do 3rd gear clutch wheelies, does any of that had to do with my problem?

Thanks
