I had to remove it for installation of of an Ohlins. Was thinking of just connecting the two existing tubes and bypassing the tank all together. I think this may be better then just venting to the atmosphere. I know I'll prob get some more oil in the airbox but it's easy enough to get to the airbox on the monsters to clean.

Anyone do this? Just extend the existing tube to the airbox?

If I'm reading this right, I think I did this when I mounted a 999 shock on my S2R 1000. Oil breather box thingy had to go so I( had to route the dang hose somewhere. I just routed it up to the airbox and have had no issues at all. From what I have researched, as long as you don't overfill on an oil change you should be good to go.

Plus the damn box is ugly.
