It finally happened to me today. Intermittent oil lights out on an hour long trip..
Top speed was likely 50, but everything felt fine. Oil level is a hair above max on the glass, and temps when I returned home were just a tiny bit under 100. No loss of oil.
It actually turned off both times when I stopped at a light and got to accelerate away hard in first again..
But, really the bike feels great.. theres just over 10k on the clock, and I just changed the oil.
This could be a coincidence as the light only came on twice, but it did come on both times in 4th while thudding along at a cruise.
I'm presuming this is the bs light from a possibly failing switch, but is there anything to make sure it is, so it won't play on my mind so much.
I also heard the sensor is identical to the Vauxhall agila oil pressure switch. Is this true?
Many thanks.
Rob.
