Hello,
I'm about to replace the oil cooler hoses and fittings on my 750 F1B. I'm wanting to use Earl's type fittings with stainless braided hose. Earl's fittings are coded in size with numbers - for example "-8" or "-10". Can anyone tell me what the thread sizes/pitch are for the oil hoses on the F1 - both at the oil cooler end and the crankcase end? Are they metric? Has anyone used Earl's type fittings on a std F1 oil cooler? (most Earl's fittings are imperial).
Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Greg
