Have an Ohlins shock from a 95 900ss....anyone know if it will fit a 99 900ss ?
Both have alum swingarms.

my understanding is that the 99 (efi) shocks are longer than the carby shocks - so im guessing yours either would not fit or would lower the back of the bike abit - unless the ohlins shock is height adjustable like some are ?

I think the Ohlins shock set at their standard ride height is the same length as the later shock as fitted to fuel injected bikes. The site below lists the DU235 as fitting the models from 91 to 99 so that is into the injected years. Read here somewhere where the latest Supersport came with an ohlins rear as standard.
