Post by Dan Kyle earlier this year that Soki, a suspension company owned fully or mostly by Yamaha, made certain parts for Ohlins. Yamaha previously owned a large percentage of Ohlins but this apparently is no longer the case. Anyone know if Kenth Ohlin regained full ownership and if all manufacturing is now back in Sweden? Effective when? Dave

All parts för ÖHLINS labelled products are not produced in Sweden, but about 95% of it is (We where at the factoy last winter for a tour). Some parts are made in Japan for the internals and they have an assembly plant there, but they still use the stuff produced in Sweden.

In all regards.. As i understood it from the touurdirector is that all OEM Ducati products and all "upgrades" and replacement and service parts come from the factory in Upplands-väsby, Stockholm.

And the majority share is back with Kent´s family since about 1.5-2 years ago.
