@Austen or whomever else. When you put ADV style tires on your Hyper, did you keep the same size? Reason I ask, is I have a spare set of rims I'd like to put some dirt track style tires on (poser, I know, it's just for fun). Any guidance is appreciated.

Yep, same size. And, I'm assuming that you're just asking about tire size. I wanted to go to a 19 front, but it was way more work than it would benefit. FWIW, the pavement grip on the Conti tires are hard to believe if you don't try it. The other shocking benefit is in the rain. Again, they're almost unbelievable. I have spare wheels with new street rubber, but I can find no reason to swap, except that my back tire needs replacing pronto, but it's still getting a knobby.

I know someone that does.

How much for both?

Make me an offer. I have a very nice box to ship them in as well & will include my OEM rotor bolts. I replaced them but OEM ones look great & have as much or more green thread lock as the new ones.
Since this friend of mine is located in Utah and I don't do other people's bidding I just texted him to give me some kind of number.

He has not responded back yet so either he's snowmobiling......or dead.

As soon as I hear a number from him your the first to know, I also understand if someone else comes up before him he's late.

I reached out to Star.ace designs for a new carbon throttle cam for my hyper; shipping is 40 euros. Anybody interested in combining orders and splitting shipping?

I could be up for that, Will have to check out his products for the 1100. Have not looked in a while.

HM1100 gurus - can anyone recognise the seat in the photos below?

I am on the hunt for a DP comfort or race seat and have been offered this - it’s seen better days but the price is reasonable, but I don’t recognise it compared to the standard comfort or race seats.

Looks like the comfort seat with a faded stitching.
I thought so initially, but the top material seems off.

This seat is like the one I bought new in 2012. It is the DP comfort seat/cover. The earlier posted pic looks similar, but has likely been re-covered.

The correct part number is 96782608B

Yep that one is definitely the DP comfort seat, potentially the first one I’m looking at has been recovered. I’ll see if I can get the guy to find a part number. Thanks!
Another one for the brains trust.. does anyone know if the airbox changed between the early 1100 and the 1100 evo/SP? Is the 796 airbox the same as the 1100 evo/SP?

The reason I ask is I am looking at a MWR airbox lid and would like to do the cutting for the mod before pulling mine out, there’s a few older 1100 and 796 ones available. It would also mean I can keep my stock DP one unmolested.

I've had a look at the Ducati Parts lists and found the following;
2008 1100 - 44211291B
2012 1100 - 44211291D
2010 796 - 44211291C
2012 796 - 44211291D
The only difference between years/models is the last revision letter. So not 100% sure they will fit but my guess is that they will.
