Hi,

I purchased a 2010 MTS 1200 with a Ducati pannier set. Both side panniers have the locks coded to the ignition key fob but sadly the top box did not have a key barrel at all. I have no idea what the original owner did with the lock.

So I was told I could only get a cylinder ( lock) from Ducati as the Givi ones sold as spares, are different and cannot be modified to suit.

What are my options without spending kidney prices for a lock from Ducati ?
I would like it to be key-all-alike but can live with a seperate key for the top box. And I would like to keep the factory top box.

cheers.

Thanks but mine looks like this. I dont have any hardware for the lock like a cam that attaches on the end of the barrel.

At the risk of being simplistic, have you check the tool kit under the seat?
