I'm going to run down to Deal's Gap next weekend for a couple of days (Sat-Tue). I'm going go down 81 to Front Royal, VA and then jump on the Blue Ridge Pkwy down from there. I've never done this before. Are there places along the way to stay? Any specific recommendations for lodging or roads I should take?
