Does anyone know if you need to do any drilling to fit the Nichols frame bolts to a '93 SS, or is it a pretty straightforward swap? Their web site isn't too clear on this.

You do drill with a specific size bit,(escapes me but its in the instructions). You drill through the frame and engine mount to clean up the bore. The fit is much closer tolerance with the Nichols so the holes are drilled to fit.
I found the improvement on my 93ish SS substantial.

On the rear right side of the frame you drill the threads out. That means you can't go back to original bolts if you want to for some reason.

Front bolt is a straight swap and I think the instructions said to do that one first.

I also noticed a difference after doing it.
