Gday!
I'm about to finish off the installation of the Nichols flywheel on the 998 '02 Testastretta, non deep sump.
I've read the instructions at Nichols site. It says to use the included spacer if there's a non flange type sleeve.
The 998 doesn't have the flange on the sleeve but if I try to add the spacer, the sprocket for the starter is too far out.
I just want to double check that the spacer is NOT needed on this bike.
Also, what torque are recommended for the two replacement alternator nuts? 190nm?
As always, I find the the hardest part is to find documentation...
Cheers!!
