I'll believe it when I see it as well!!! When I look at the website pops provided the outline of the fire appears to be just south of Newcombs. It really could still be alive!

THANK YOU!! I was really depressed about the loss of Newcombs, and I feel much better now. I'm still sad about the Firefighters who lost their lives and the people who lost their homes, but I'm better now..... Aloha Alex

I've been sending people this link also. I hope it's credible as most all other motorcycle forums are reporting it was burned already.

I also hope the road can be repaired soon..

Darren Martinelli is on the local radio station now, and says Newcomb's Ranch is still up and standing. He says there are lots of hot spots around the area, but all is well as of now.

Hidden Springs Cafe on Angeles Forest was burned.

Newcombs is fine. Me along with several of my motor partners rode up the crest on sunday. In fact, I used the bathroom and actually watched part of the 250 GP race. We had the place all to ourselves.

Then we rode from the crest all the way down Azuza Cyn to the 210 Fwy. Never ridden that section before.
