05 DS1000 with 3K mi on the clock. Brought her home 10 minutes ago !

i read about that in your last post, and was wondering already, if this
is the bike i was going to pic up next wednesday, as mine is supposed
to be a 2005 with 3k miles ( 2.6 ) also...

I bought it here on Vancouver Island but noticed it is a USA bike that appears to be imported from New York. It also has the original pipes, airbox snorkle cover/filter and what appears to be some sort of dual plug multipin
module with a heat sink. I wonder if that is an ECU ?

yeah sounds like, the dimensions of it changed quite much between the
early and later Supersports, with the later ones being much smaller of course.
could be that the Termi pipes came with a special ecu, you'll find it mounted
near your batterie beneath the tank.

Still my personal favorite color on an SS. My brother sure likes his 1000DS; you probably will, too.

Fabulous bike - mine is an '06 in red I bought last year with about 6k miles. I had a SS800 prior. You will love it.
