I recently got a 2015 Hyperstrada as something more "touring" friendly than my 998 or SXV. This bike seemed like a perfect combination of the two, and I did a lot of research on known issues before buying it. This bike is up to date on service, the starter was replaced, and CAN BUS filter installed. As a 2015, it came with the updated clutch pack. The only thing I'm unclear of is whether the coil pack is still a problem for 2015 models, and whether or not there is even an updated part? I want to be able to take this on multi-day trips without worrying about being stranded. The funniest thing is that if it weren't for the discomfort, I would have no reservations whatsoever about touring on the 998 - it's been rock solid and I was doing 8 hour days on it every weekend up until 2 years ago when my body just couldn't take it anymore.
