I know this has been discussed a lot... but what I have not read about yet is this issue... I just put on new FBF slip-ons and that low RPM stumble that both the 996 and 748 have is now gone. Thank god. I know she will now be running leaner, but seeing as how there was lots of carbon in the old pipes (running rich?) and that annoying stumble is gone... why should I bother chipping it? Also, can't one adjust the screw in the CPU is get it to run a bit richer? Again, why chip? I'm not worried about MPG, or power that much as I ride like an old lady, so will there be harm done to the bike without a chip installed? Thanks guys.
