It doesn't provide detailed instructions, but shows how it's fitted and removed. IIRC you have to remove the short one that comes on the bike stock, then install the longer one that comes with the touring kit.
Your dealer should have offered you the option, but given your location, you probably don't want to take it back just to do an install that will take 10 minutes.
