Nick wanted me to try some better Ohlins forks for my Paul Smart.

These R&T forks feature modular billet bottom mounts, gold nitrated sliders and better valving than my PS currently has. These have adjustable rebound and compression in each fork. They ae direct bolt on forks with 50mm top and 54mm bottom clamping surfaces.

Nick is building 65mm carriers so one could use OEM calipers or aftermarket 4 pad calipers. He has titanium axles for the forks. These are designed to be used with OEM wheels but we have spacers that will allow you to use the 916 fitment wheels as well.

They are slightly longer than the OEM forks so it will give me more adjustment options as well as allow more choices of clip-ons.

Once we get everything worked out, we will be offering these for $2965 a set including the billet mount and titanium axle.

Will this set up work for the SC 1000 too?
Yes. It should work on the GT as well.
We have a sport1000 to test it on but not a GT.

Original or aftermarket calipers
Original or aftermarket wheels by using a rotor spacer

we can spring the forks based on your weight before shipping.

If there are enough requests, we can make a radial caliper mount for it.

According to Ohlins they are billet.

Not billet, the grain structure and rough casting line give it away. Maybe Öhlins means the parts that bolt to the bottoms are billet.

Seems really complex .......
?
We do have the stock spec with the same internals that these have
Cost is a bit more but the fit is a no brainer

we also offer up a 848 set up with radials and Alpina wheels:D

Yes- we are talking about the billet mount between the forged bottom and the caliper as pictured here. This is the type of mount that willbe included with the forks.

They can be swapped out to these type mounts to create a radial mount.
