New members - responding to classifieds

Hi all.

Just curious. I am a new member and introduced myself earlier this month. I completely understand the new members cannot post an item in the classifieds but can new members not respond to a existing post? Was trying to buy the HM handguards listed and the system told me I could not access that page. Does it take 25 posts to be able to buy something as well?

There is NO posting in the classifieds of any kind until you have 25 post. Why wouldn't you just send the seller a PM if you want to buy something?
