Hello from Chicago.

Just wanted to introduce myself. I've got a few Ducs. Some old vintage Yamaha race bikes and an MV.

I've recently purchased a Supermono and am plannig on taking her out in a couple weeks. I've been Racing bikes for the past 4 years. Looks like a great site. Lots of good info.

Here's a pic of my new pride and joy.

Cheers,

Jon

Mate, what a bike..
EXCELLENT...

I have only ever seen one Supermono on the track and that was some time ago.
Didnt think there was to many Supermono's around in the world at all.
Is it plaqued?

Thanks.

Yes....its number 34.

Robert Holden (New Zealand)raced this bike in the IOMTT in 94.

Feel real luck to have gotten it. They only made 62

That´s REALLY nice!

SuperMono´s are rare. Lovely machine that one!

The owner of Ducati Stockholm actually has TWO! (He uses one as a racer.. STILL!)

Why Oh why did the SuperMono never make to a street production version??....**sobs quietly**.....from what I've been told even though it was prototype/racer it was fully developed & VERY reliable.....**little sniffles**.....

Welcome aboard ! It is always a pleasure to welcome someone who has a Ducati from another era, and to add their experience to the mix. I've ridden a Supermono and thought it was the most fantastic handling bike I'd ever experienced. A life altering experience ? Pretty damn close.

Many of us here long for a newer version of the Supermono based on the 999R engine. Hopefully in this lifetime....sigh.

Lastly, is there a Supermono registry or site out there ? Please let us know.
