After about 7 years of not riding, I recently took a small motorcycle trip in eastern Europe with some friends, and came home wanting to buy another bike. My previous bike was a big v-twin cruiser from a now defunct company out of AZ. It looked cool but wasn't the most nimble or comfortable bike.
I decided that I wanted an upright seating position, and started looking at adventure bikes. After test driving the F850GS, the R1250GS, the MTS 950S and the 1260S (and an R nine T just to be sure) I felt that the 950S was the "Goldilocks bike" for me.
