Just picked up a 2010 HPM 796 with a full Termignoni Exhaust System. I haven't had a bike for a few years, the last one was an R1, I missed it but knew when I got a bike again it would not be a sportbike. I narrowed the choice down to a HD Cruiser, Duc Monster or the HPM. After a few test rides I changed my mind on the HD and knew I wanted a Duc. It wasn't an easy decision but I'm glad I went with the HPM.

I joined this forum to read up on mod idea's and such. I don't plan on doing much more then a few bolt on's but I always like hearing/seeing what everyone else is doing to their bikes.

Here is a quick cell pic after the ride into work this morning.

Mod "To Do" List-
1. Remove Db Killer- DONE!
2. 14t Sprocket
3. DucShop Hyperstacks
4. Custom Tune

Congrats on the new Duc! Good choice on color as well... just like the others have mentioned there are plenty of things to do to it.

Drive safe!

Congratulations for your new bike.

I love my Hyper 796 more and more every day. Having now dropped the dream of owning SF848 after a proper test ride on it and I'm convinced that HM 796 is the right and best bike for me. I still want to test ride HM1100 one day,,, ;)

My list:
1. 14t sprocket - done
2. Install Power Commander V - soon
3. SC-project 2-2 titanium exhaust system - asap
4. steering damper - it is needed

What, specifically, made u choose the hyper over tthe monster? Just curious as i love them both... 14 tooth sprocket does nothing but good. Add that to ur list of upcoming mods:) cool bike, ull certainly enjoy it, theyre funner than an r1 in most situations(all but a highspeed racetrack like laguna seca, etc or a serious high mile per day sport tourer, in my opinion).

I like them both almost equally, I was able to get a great deal on the Hyper with the Exhuast.

Could you upload a pic of your HM with the seat and tank mod you have made.
I'm very curious to see how it looks.
