Hi,

I've aquired my late brothers 99' 900ss. Haven't ridden in many years 12 or so
(91' FZR 400) , so I'm a little gun shy! Currently the bike doesn't have a kickstand, so I'm trying to figure out what Ducati's used the same one, so I can start riding.

Any help would be great.

Stand info

Sorry about your brother. Ride and remember him.

Just checked part numbers. The 900SSie and 1000SSie stand part numbers are the same. This will mean that a stand from the SSie range of 750, 800, 900 and 1000 will be the same part.

I have attached the assembly pic from my 2001 900SSie parts list just in case you are missing other bits. I have also attached the legend and part number list in case you have to buy new.

i think 2 of them were on ebay last week.

Once your back on the road ride everyday... i was a bit gunshy from not riding in a while but it came back quicker than i thought it would. Now if its clear and my wife is in Japan for a year im riding every where i go with no exceptions.
