Hi Guys,

just want to share with you my Multi 1200 tuning for exhaust system.

I installed the Leovince No Kat + the Leovince Factory Evo II Titanium version.

This is the final outlook

About the mapping tuning, I went into a very professional Italian tuner, wich is also running the CIV with 1199 Panigale . He has always the most updated system to "talk" with engines and the guy following the dyno map is really really skilled.

This is the final result after rougly 10 shot on dyno ( FUCHS )

The most impressive thing is how now it runs over 6K rpm. I feel my bike wants to open the wings and fly away. really terrific!!!

I am open to reply to all your doubts and questions about this topic, imho this is the best looking ex. for our super Multi!

And now I can say my bike is EVO

Back in topic, yes it sound nice with the DB Killer in...a little bit "poppin metal" I don't know how to explain...

Without DB killer is something similar to a 1198 SBK :D

I just installed the same exhaust but without the remap. I do not like popping sound it makes with the db killer installed and without it it's a bit louder than I would like. Looking for another db killer.

If you solve the problem of poppin I am really interested!

Did you already think to some solution?

What do you think putting an arrow Kat without DB killer?

Or even with... should it be more "cut" before arriving the DB Killer

it's 152,1 @ crankshaft

I didn't check the loss I always check only the gap between before map and aftermap...

every dyno has it's loss ... also depends on tire...

If you check before last adjustment you can see it was a little bit less 150,9 and less torque...

that's why is important the step by step tune up

Exhaust

Hey Sapo, nice looking system. I had a MIVV decat mid pipe installed yesterday with a Termi slip-on. It sounds great but a little too loud for me. So I too am looking for an additional baffle to bring the sound down a notch. After the install bike put on the Dyno and ran 135.41 rear wheel HP at about 9500 RPM. Max Torque was 82.37. The ECU was re-flashed with a BMS (RX) Map. The work was done at Boulder Motorsports here in Boulder, Colorado. My read out on startup says Ducati Racing where yours says EVO. I don't have any issues with popping and backfiring on deceleration which I'm happy to say. Also noticed the bike runs a little cooler temperature then before. Cruising at 75 miles per hour in 92 degree temps. bikes temp was 170 degrees. Please let me know if you guys find out about any additional baffles/db killers that we might be able to add to these systems.

here in Italy we have several guys did that solution starting from the full system titanium baffle. If you want I can find it for you but I guess it weill be more expensive for shipment than if you g to a good mechaninc and let him produce

popping

Popping on over-run.
Assuming you have 'access' , ie, PCV, then it's really important to note exactly WHERE it's popping...I thought it was in the low revs, almost closed throttle, so I played there in the tables and nothing changed. Then I actually paid attention...and it was between 4000 and 3000 with throttle about 10%...so I played there...and have almost got rid of all popping....just inoffensive baby gurrgles now. Still playing....just small changes. I quite enjoy...same downhill stretch, same ambient conditions...laptop strapped to the back...!!

Baffle

I ordered this baffle from BR Racing which is made to fit the MIVV decat system with a Termi Slipon. I think this should do the job and was just what I was looking for.

baffles

I installed an additional baffle in the end of the Termi slip-on which turned down the sound enough to make things enjoyable. This combined with the BR baffle made everything just right for me and the performance coupled with the sound is perfect.

Yesterday installed the Leovince decat with Termignoni Slip-on. Next thing to do is a BMC race filter and in Spring a Rexxer remap. Is it loud? Yes it is. Is it too loud? In my opinion not. Didn't do a testdrive because it's Winter in the Netherlands and there is salt on the road. When it's too loud I'm gone make a dbkiller in the short Termi. Anybody has a dbkiller for me from a full Termi system or a Streetfighter system?

Any of you MTS owners, in the Sacramento area, have your MTS ECU reflashed by Motowheels, in Rancho Cordova? This is the closet place for me to have it done and really like the looks of the LeoVince exhaust, but want everything done at once. Pros/cons of this place?

Thanks.
