The Green light won't go off, washed the bike today and light stayed on when I went for a air dry?

Any Idea's from my Duc brothers...........

we discussed this topic the other day.

anyway, neutral light switch is located at the
right upper rear of the right side engine case,
just behind and beneath the crank case brea-
ther valve.
style of switch changed from carb to injected
supersports, from a mechanical towards an
eletrical switch.

the neutral light cable that goes to the switch,
is a "negative" or "ground" cable, see left side
of the shift drum in the attached pic,
there is brown rubber all around
the shiftdrum where the switch is connected
to it, the red arrow indicates the neutral pos-
ition, where the neutral lights ground cable
got set on metall to illuminate the light in your
dashboard.

could be that the isolation of your neutral light
switch cable is defect and touches the engine
or frame at some other point.

get the switch cable out of the engine case by
pulling at it, have the area dried, never wash
your bike again.

I tried the search, keeping you up on your toe's. Thanks ,after the Wings game will take a look maybe but the LaBatts are tasting good tonight.
