can anyone work this out as I've been trying to use forums info but still can't work it out

ZDM = Manufacturer Code = Ducati
851 = model number
5 is probably a check digit
850074 = serial number

hey Geta many thx the 5 [ check digit ] i can't work out , form what I understand it should be a s ... maybe it was a friday arvo on the assembly line ! bike is in a box and I think its a 851 tri colour kit version but who knows [ long story ]

what does the # on the frame say? that 5 should be an s. 851 tri #74. not sure why they started all the sequential # with 85. it stopped for 89 my 851.

i've had #75 in the workshop.
