Other than changing, oil, battery, and gas, what other things should I keep an eye on?

Its been out of the weather and looks really good other than dust......
Be nice now, as an admin, I haven't had to ban anyone in a while.....LOL

I have only had my one bike a 2001 900SS all this time.

Stepping up in the world.

Post detailed pics. Let’s see the condition. Belts and tyres. Clutch and brake fluid to add to your list.

Ok
I took a look
It is an 1198S Corse
Tricolor scheme
A few nicks in the left side where it fell over.
Termi exhaust
Otherwise in pretty good shape

Oil, gas, brake and clutch fluids.
Battery is probably a bust.

Might think about pulling the plugs, but I would try to start it without that.
Plan on gasoline filter replacing if you need to pull the fuelpump.

Its taped over and wired? Apparently a track day bike?

All fluids
Tires
Clutch
Belts
Plugs, while out maybe roll motor over and do a compression check
And yes, battery is probably shot.

Best of luck.
