I've been looking at this NCR Ti Subframe due to how much people are wanting for used OEM Alu subframes... Does anyone have this NCR piece? I've seen one on a 999S recently, but not on the 996 or 998.

I've also been thinking about picking one up for my 05 999. How much of a weight saving is there? Is it a direct replacement? What other parts would I need - I would be converting from a biposto to monoposto?

Thanks,

Check here.. I think it is significantly lighter than the stock one... Contact Phil @ Mototek if you have any questions, he has a 999 Ti Subframe ready to bolt up. I'm curious if anyone has one for a 996 or 8.

The NCR subframe is lighter than the aluminum OEM subframe. The Biposto subframe is steel. You should save at least 50% in weight over a biposto subframe.

I've never converted a biposto to a mono on a 999. I know a lot of people have though. Maybe someone that has will chime in...
