My footpeg solution

I did the ultimate sin... I installed a pair of Yamaha FZ whatever rubber covered pegs on the beast and they are really ok.

Longer for my big hoof, rubber topped for foot comfort and they don't look too bad.

I know I may be branded a heretic by some and shunned by others but, when I am riding, you can't see them and they feel a lot better than the stockers.

My humble apologies to the Ducati corporation and to the purists but, now I am truly comfortable.

I will post pics of them as long as I don't get too much negative feedback.

I did post something on one of the footpeg threads but realized it was more of a commercial thread than not and I apologize for that also.

Whatever works for you is all it matters, I installed a yamaha headlight on mine, so you won't get bashed by me, that's for sure!
I would love to see pics and a part number or a year and model so I can order if I like them.
I'd also love to see that Yamaha headlight on the SF!!!

Ok, here are a few views... I just asked at my local Yamaha dealer for any FZ style foot pegs. We figured I needed the pegs (left and right) 2 rubber thingies, 4 screws and 2 springs. Really painless venture and cost me around 120 for all of it.
I took off one of the Duc pegs to "trace" (by eye actually) and then grind off the excess while trying to make something like the Duc shape. A couple of test fits and grinding at the end and they fit well enough. I think take your time and check a few times for end length because too little and you will have pegs that are not square with the bike but hanging down a bit, or a lot depending on how much you take off.
I think that is it... if you need any other info, let me know.
Got to give props to TT from Multistrada.net, he came up with the idea for his Multi and I bought mine to go on my Multi until I tried the SF (see it happened when...lol) anyway, TT said they worked well for him and they are pretty good... not blingy but pretty good.

Few more days, I'm working on a plate relocator and tail vents directionals, along with a fat bar and Rizoma reservoirs.
being a former wrong islander (commack), i have total confidence that the hidden turn signals will start a craze.

Commackyan? Say Hello to Rosie O'Donnell! Lake Grove here.
As far as the tail directionals, those are done. I'm just waiting for the carbon underpan so I can mount and wire the plate relocator.
