Get the low version of the Sargent MTS seat. That's what I did and it gives a little better footing for me (I'm 5'10) as well as 700 mile/day comfort.

Great looking bike! When you say you "need a little more leg," what do you mean? You need more leg room or you want to be more sure footed?

i am tippy toe so far so good ,getting used to it
tried the low seat and i dont think it was worth it, better to modify the original seat
so far i am in love

I have the Sargent low version on my 2013 and love it. I'm 5'10" with a 30" inseam, so before this seat it sucked even worse. It still sucks now, just....less. I can get the ball down on both feet with this seat and the bike in single rider with luggage mode.

have to make my mind up between the low seat or comfort
need a little more leg
as u can see its pretty well farkeld out
nice to be back after a few yrs away

after spending the weekend on it all i can say is wow, i no longer care i am tippy toe,if need be i move my butt and plant one foot, all good
a bike this good sometimes compromises must be made
best bike this soon to be 60 yr old has ever ridden
she is a keeper,one pic from the weekend
