Finally getting around to making a presentation thread for my '08 848. Bought it in near bone stock form from a good friend in late 2011 with 4k miles. Now sitting at 25,xxx with not much OEM stuff remaining. It gets used on both the street and track, and even got my CRA racing license on it in June of last year.

Just for reference, this is how she started when I brought her home and could count the mods on one hand...

Earlier season shots in street dress...

One of the few SBKs that suffers multiple personalities syndrome LOL..
Always nice seeing the full CF on your bike every time.
Quick question: is that the Sony Action cam ya have? How's the wind noise on it? My damn Contour can't be used for shit without the waterproof case.

Hey, man! Nice see a familiar face....err, screen name! ^_^

Cam is the iON Air Pro 2. Definitely wish I'd looked into them sooner. GoPro HD quality, easy to use, WiFi/BT capable, and bullet cam (like the Contour). Here's a vid of my last session at COTA back in June. Thinking of picking up a Pro 3 for the front face cam during the offseason. https://vimeo.com/m/99181989

Well, if you like the bare carbon look, you'll love every pic I post next season, lol. Decided to go with a set of unpainted carbon track bodywork, then add the DW headlight/taillight decals to mimic the street dress. :)

Was even brave enough to do a few events this year in street dress w/track prep...

Tire swap for the rains during our Oct 3 td @ BIR. Low to mid-30s with rain and ~20mph winds. Even got light snow flurries a couple times out there during the day....

Always a good day when the bike goes home the same way it left...save for different tires and less fuel!!

Thought I'd take a few current shots of the bike as it sits now. Threw the barely used Q3s on for the first time since early May to enjoy the rest of the season. :)
