That wheel nut socket looks to be aluminum of some grade- not something I would use due to the low strength properties of the material.

I got a SS version that is a bit heavier but I know will not mess up my fasteners.

do 1098/1198 bikes not come with those tools already (except the wheel nut socket)?
My 748 and 999 both came with front axle alignment and chain adjuster (hook) tools.
$73 is a lot of money for a wheel nut socket.

If I recall, they were included in the orig 916 tool kit
on the other extreme the most worthless tool kit comes with the 999R,
