Portlanders, MotoCorsa has a small collection of Ducs on display until the end of the month.

I'd recommend stopping by, grab a handful of joe, and mingle with the ladies as they are very pretty and don't mind if you stare at their ass.

Very nice! I hope that the shop has good insurance. Be careful with your comments about 'staring at ladies asses' you might arouse the wrath of some female members here.

Of course they have insurance and the bikes were donated by the owners for this event. The dealership is one of the top ones in North America. Oh please...let 'em gimme their wrath, if they don't get the humor then @#$! 'em...seriously

Toby-

Do you have a shot of the 900SS that was rescued from some guy's backyard? I thought that was pretty amazing because it was so complete, but gnarly also.

Looks like a well stocked dealership up there. Damm I want an old single soooo bad !
They've got some more. The place where I currently work at is just up the street from the dealership so I can stop by and take their pictures.

The obligatory 750 SS pic...

Some folks weren't fans of this one, but I liked it:

Another pic of the $1000 craigslist barn find, the stories behind the find were great to hear... Anyone else notice it's still rockin' the Pirelli Phantoms ;-)

I would love to have this scrambler to tool around on, and admire...

One of the several I also really liked but just now realize I didn't take a pic of it is the Supermono.

Toby,
Those scramblers really are cool. Would you mind snapping a photo of the black one if they're still there? My 2009 is a replica of that one!

Thanks a bunch.

slight thread drift. :)

if these are not known to everyone yet, the Condor A 350 might
be an interesting, cheap and obtainable alternative for the scrambler bikes.

stock pic and details here:

Google-Ergebnis für http://i.ytimg.com/vi/tzL0FcS0fBk/0.jpg

they don't look too bad once civilized:

this is what they sell for over here:

condor Suchergebnisse: Motorräder bei mobile.de

I'll happily part disassemble one and crate it up, if anyone out there
is interested. That should fit into a medium sized box of which I would
deliver to the harbour for free then.
just for the fun of it and to see the happy result.

engine is 350cc with valve springs I guess, should run fine with
minimum port work and a slightly raised compression ratio.
would look good in either red or black, with a high pipe maybe,
can be left alone and all stock as well too of course.
beside the paint, a matter of taste maybe.

:)

edit #2: check this inexpensive 350 Scrambler in Germany,
pretty low mileage too:
