Mount Hamilton is a riot!! Especially coming from the east (pueblo rd?).
Rode it last may from Reno, on the way to the Quail Motorcycle Gathering in Monterey. By the time I was at the top, i was hyperventilating from excitement, and i had arm pump from going gangbusters up the road, 30+ miles. I highly recommend it.

Even when I read an article that says an Aprilia and a BMW did faster times than a Panigale V4, I know I'll never have anything but a Ducati. I have owned six, including two Monsters and three Multistradas. Bought my first in 1974 (like the attached photo except for the air filters). Bought the gray 2017 Multistrada in September 2018 but managed to total it the next day. Damn! Fortunately I still have the white 2011 shown below. The 2017 handled a bit better and was a little smoother, but its engine threw off a lot more heat than the 2011.
Bought mine a year ago from Big Bike Project in Bangkok. it is a 2012 Pikes Peak and it only had 2200 kilometers on it. I have added 7000 in the last year.
i am currently riding around Thailand. Panniers are SW Motech which I am wrapped with: the frames detatch easily. Top box is a Givi 52L. More than enough luggage capacity for 4 weeks touring.
Roads in Thailand are sublime! I have been riding here 10 years. You need to be careful, but excellent riding on some world class roads.
Will post photos when I find the touring thread.
just realised the last time I posted here was 9 years ago when I hd my 1198!
Love seeing all of the amazing bikes! This is the first time I rode a Multi and rode it about 400 miles and enjoyed every minute of it. Rented it from a friend and now I want one for myself!
Great weather in Australia at the moment and have just completed a 6000 mile ride into western new south wales, South Australia and Victoria, the Multi performed faultlessly, great fuel consumption
my bike: 2015 1200 S, 12k miles.
i started it up today, rode a few miles and noticed the fuel gauge went from 3/4 tank to empty, and the fuel icon was flashing yellow. i pulled over, added about 2 gallons of gas, started it up and the guage showed full, no flashing warnings. rode a few more...
The riding season was cut short this year here in Wisconsin thanks to a Haloween snowstorm. I'll spare you the rant on that subject. Here is what I did.........
I was putting my Multi to bed for the season. Got its favorite storage spot in the garage, on its stand, favorite battery charger /...
On my '13 MTS 1200, I read on a thread here to check the oil cold (which seemed odd to me). I then added oil but once the engine warmed up, it showed that the oil level was above the Max mark. Is there an easy way to remove some of the excess oil? I saw a YouTube video where they took a spray...

I'm sure this has been done to death in other threads, but what hasn't at this point? Just got my 2016 PP multi, and first on my list is doing something about the, in my opinion, overly quiet stock exhaust. The Termi slip on that comes with the bike looks great, and i've considered modifying the...
