Years of dirt bikes :)
Ass over the back and crack the throttle
Both tires went flat and cut the front brake line when the front rim flared out. Got over to the shoulder without much drama
Was a “ good “ day

I have 2 damaged rims so I’m looking for a set of takeoffs from another bike that will bolt right up. I know I can get them straightened, just curious what other bikes will fit without issue.
There's always opportunity in calamity. I know it's more expensive but everyone faced with this situation shoud consider stepping-up to something really nice like forged Machesini's, Oz or Carbon BST's. IMHO.
We're only here for a short time.

I totally agree, and almost went that way. But the stock wheels are pretty decent and on a sport touring bike that will be loaded with extra weight half the time, it wasn't worth it to me.
