I just picked up a 2004 S4R and want to install driving lights. I prefer to have them mounted higher than Motolights mount or where Martin Fabrication mounts put them.

I have two options in mind: use the upper radiator mount or use the upper bolt that holds the heat guard on the side of the radiator. I'm open to others.

My initial inspection of the upper radiator mount is that it is plastic and probably wouldn't hold up. I'm afraid of the heat guard option because it might pull out of the radiator.

I did multiple searches in the forum and didn't get any hits except Motolights.

Any thoughts anyone?

George
