I have an aluminum swing arm from a 93' 900SS that I want to mount on my Pantah powered special. The Pantah uses a large diameter mounting pin and the 900SS has a much smaller one. Is it a simple matter of fitting a bushing to the Pantah motor to make this work, or??

You can either bush the pantah motor, or bore the swingarm. I would probably throw a bushing in the motor, seems easier. good luck!

Hi,

the 900ss has needle bearings in the cases that support the swingarm pin/axel. I would take mesurements and see if I could find bearings to fit the Pantah cases and the 900ss pin.

Thanks for that info! I thought they all used a bushing, so welcome to the future for me... If I find a bearing number that matches up - without machine work - I will share it!

Good luck with that, if you can get a needle bearing into the Pantah cases you'll have a much better setup (the Pantah swingarm bearings wear very quickly). You may have to bush the cases and install the needle bearings into the bushings (?)
