Hey guys just looking to buy a mortard but I was wondering what years had the most problems/ which one to avoid if any. Or things to swap when buying one.

Hope this helps:

You'll probably get more help on a concrete forum TBH.

I would say... the 821 is the one

I have one and it’s got over 25k miles. Even though mine it’s been a tough one, I followed this forum throughout these years and I’ve seen a lot of problems.

mine had small electronic issues that were fixed under warranty, other stuff too. Starter components that failed with low milage were very common and some parts were just to cheap (handguards with halogen bulbs in 2013, wtf were you thinking Ducati???.. for example)

I would look for a good low milage 1100 or newer 939 or 950

It depends on what you’re looking to do with it? Is it going on the highway? Do you stunt? Do you want performance?
